An intention ring is a piece of jewellery used as a physical reminder of a feeling, choice or direction you want to return to. It does not need to be complicated, and it does not hold your power for you. Its purpose is to help bring your attention back to the power you already have.
What makes a ring an intention ring?
Any meaningful ring can become connected with an intention, but a purpose-designed intention ring makes the symbolism part of how it is worn. The Auras Intention Ring uses a pointed crystal setting that can face inward or outward, giving you a simple visual and tactile cue throughout the day.
Which way should the point face?
Wear the point outward when your intention is to express, release or direct energy into the world. This might suit a day when you want to speak clearly, take action, create or let go.
Turn the point inward when you want to receive, draw energy towards yourself or return your focus within. This might reflect rest, self-trust, reflection or receiving support.
There is no wrong direction. Ask yourself one useful question: Am I giving energy out today, or calling energy back to me?
A simple daily intention ritual
- Pause. Take three slow breaths before putting on the ring.
- Choose one clear intention. Keep it short enough to remember, such as “I protect my peace” or “I move forward with courage.”
- Set the direction. Turn the point outward to express or release, or inward to receive and reconnect.
- Use touch as a cue. When you notice the ring during the day, repeat your intention or take one action that supports it.
- Reset. At the end of the day, notice what shifted without judging yourself. Choose again tomorrow.
Choosing Amethyst or Moldavite
The design is available in two stones, each carrying a different traditional symbolism.
Amethyst Intention Ring
Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm, clarity, intuition and spiritual protection. It can suit intentions such as I choose clarity over confusion, I protect my peace, or I trust my inner knowing.

Moldavite Intention Ring
Moldavite is associated in crystal traditions with transformation, releasing what no longer aligns and courageous new beginnings. It can suit intentions such as I welcome aligned transformation, I release what I have outgrown, or I am ready to move forward.

Do intention rings “work”?
An intention ring is not a promise that thoughts alone will change your life. Its practical value is as a cue: it can interrupt autopilot, reconnect you with a choice and remind you to act in line with it. Meaning grows through repetition and the personal story you attach to the piece.
The ring does not hold your power. It reminds you where your power is.
How to care for your ring
Remove it before bathing, cleaning, exercise or sleeping. Avoid harsh chemicals and store it separately from harder jewellery. If your adjustable band needs sizing, ask us to adjust it before shipping rather than repeatedly bending it at home.
